Summer Camp Wedding Vibes at Cedar Lakes Estate

A scenic drive just 70 miles from New York City lands you at the majestic Cedar Lakes Estate. A 1970’s summer camp turned luxury resort, the venue boasts breathtaking views of tree-lined lakes, rolling green hills and panoramic mountain horizons.

We were so thrilled to introduce two new lounge set-ups at this event: The Mini Lounge (featured in the photo above) and The Chess Lounge (featured in the photo just below). Visit our Rental Packages page for details and pricing on these new lounge rental packages.

Cedar Lakes has been featured in Vogue, Forbes, Martha Stewart, Architectural Digest, Brides and many more publications, and for good reason— the private estate has so much to offer from their rambling grounds and boutique-style cabins to their 4,000-square-foot organic garden and family-run operations. Sisters Stephanie and Lisa co-own and manage the property, sharing their earliest childhood memories on the beloved grounds.

With a sprawling landscape of 500 acres, Cedar Lakes begs for an extended weekend wedding celebration. It was the perfect backdrop for this intimate affair! Please enjoy these gorgeous captures by wedding photographer Lindsay Lazare and be sure to scroll the end of the article for a full list of vendors.

Bea Rue

Freelance Web & Graphic Designer

Recently I began taking inventory of my life, recognizing the shifts I could make to lessen my personal consumption and impact. Since we spend a quarter of our lives working, that was certainly an area demanding attention. So I left retail and begin my career freelancing for small businesses whose higher purpose transcends profit.

I believe in employing my skills and energy to empower others working to create positive change in our world. I support too-swamped entrepreneurs by breathing life into their brands and websites, allowing them to focus on the important work at hand. At the same time, I get to nurture my own entrepreneurial spirit while being creative and building truly meaningful relationships throughout my community.

I strive to inform, delight and inspire by balancing content with design. I consider the details without losing sight of the big picture. I aim to see around corners while staying focused on the moment. I'm self directed but have over a decade of experience successfully working with teams. And while I've surely got bills to pay, I know it's my social responsibility to be selective about where I put my energy.
